Drug Court Evaluation

A review of the Perth Drug Court was released by the Attorney General Jim McGinty in December 2006.

The report found strong evidence that involvement in a Drug Court program had a positive effect in reducing the level of re-offending among individuals charged with a drug-related offence. 

Five recommendations were made in the report, all of which have been accepted by the Department.
